BACHELORS PROGRAM
The KBU Bachelors degrees are specialized academic degrees that provide high quality biblical training that prepares the student for both full-time ministry and/or seminary training. This two-year program will thoroughly prepare the learner for effective 21st century Kingdom ministry in multiple disciplines. This degree is a two-year, 60 hour degree that may be used to enhance one’s training for a current ministry, prepare for other ministries, or to acquire recognized ministerial credentials, such as ordination.

- A total of 60 semester hours are required, with a minimum of thirty semester hours from KBU.
- A 2.5 GPA is required on a scale of 4.0 (each course is worth 3 semester credit hours).

Bachelor of Kingdom Theology
The Bachelor of Kingdom Theology Program is designed to resume the basics of Kingdom theology for the beginning seminary student. The prospective student must have earned an Associate’s degree or equivalent to enroll into this program. The program is 60 semester hours in length and provides a Kingdom foundation of study for Christian leaders.

The Kingdom, the Church, and You 1 | This course examines the Kingdom of God and its relationship to the church and how they practically impact the believer’s walk with Jesus Christ. The course also provides a practical presentation and understanding of the Kingdom concerning modern cultural and theological issues. |
The Kingdom, the Church, and You 2 | This course examines the Kingdom of God and its relationship to the church and how they practically impact the believer’s walk with Jesus Christ. The course also provides a practical presentation and understanding of the Kingdom concerning modern cultural and theological issues. |
The Kingdom, Globalization, and You | This course will explore prophecy and its importance to the believer, and the book of Revelation. |
And This Gospel of the Kingdom | The course revisits the traditional view of the gospel of the Kingdom of God and teaches students, from the Holy Scriptures through the dispensations of time, how Christ came preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, not the gospel of the resurrection. In this course, the student will learn how the gospel has been misinterpreted and discover the authentic gospel of the Kingdom. |
The Cross and the Crown | This course is designed for the learner to rethink his/her interpretation of scripture based upon a Kingdom perspective that highlights the crown of Christ and not merely the cross of Christ! Students will understand the crown and the cross from the Old & New Testament, looking at the cross of Christ through the lens of the crown of Christ. |
Kingdom Reformation | The course explores the history of the Christian faith in the Old and New Testaments through the history of the modern church today. The student will examine the current condition of the church and the future of the church from both a scriptural and prophetic perspective. |
The Kingdom, Then, Now, and to Come 1 | This course examines the historical position on the Kingdom of God and how the Kingdom is not relegated to the past nor the future but is available now. |
The Kingdom, Then, Now, and to Come 2 | This course takes a more in-depth look and continues the lessons from The Kingdom, Then, Now and to Come 1. Students will learn the historical position on the Kingdom of God and how the Kingdom is not relegated to the past nor the future but is available now. |
Kingdom Homiletics 1 | This course is designed to introduce the learner to the art of Kingdom preaching. Students will learn the basic mechanics of sermon preparation and delivery. The course will provide a historical synopsis of preaching from the Older and the Newer Testaments. During this course, you will explore the call and the responsibility of the 21st century Kingdom preacher. Kingdom Homiletics will guide the learner into the deeper dimensions of the Kingdom call, preparing you to expand the “preaching” experience to a “Kingdom” experience. |
Kingdom Homiletics 2 | This course is designed to continue to introduce the learner to the art of Kingdom preaching. Kingdom Homiletics 2 will teach the basic mechanics of Kingdom sermon preparation and delivery. This course will provide the learner with additional hermeneutical, exegetical, and grammatical analysis techniques that allow the Kingdom preacher to develop sound theological messages that are designed to transform the hearer by the power of the Holy Spirit. |
Kingdom Model of Ministry | This course traces the history of the ministry of Jesus the Messiah and His approach to fulfilling the Kingdom mandate. When we examine His rabbinic model we discover that Jesus is engaged in Proclamation, Explanation and Demonstration of the Kingdom. In this course we examine these three areas as models for executing Kingdom ministry. |

Biblical Hermeneutics | This course is an introduction to interpreting the Bible. It explains the art and methods of biblical interpretation. The topics discussed are: semantics, systematic hermeneutics, exegesis, hermeneutic techniques, and principles of hermeneutics. |
Kingdom Exegesis 1 (Older Testament) | This course is designed to help the student understand the Bible from a Kingdom perspective, which is its original context. It will teach the student about the cultural context and message of the Kingdom of God in language and practice throughout the Older Testament. |
Kingdom Exegesis 2 (Newer Testament) | This course is designed to help the student understand the Bible from a Kingdom perspective, which is its original context. It will teach the student about the cultural context and message of the Kingdom of God in language and practice throughout the Newer Testament. |
Power Evangelism | This course is designed to provide for the learner a new model and paradigm for the execution of evangelism. This course will teach the learner how to move from static programmatic evangelism to dynamic powerful evangelism. |
Theological Research and Technology/Writing a Theological Paper | This course introduces students to the basic research and writing skills necessary to write theological research papers. Specific attention will be given to academic writing, theological research, proper use and citation of sources, avoiding plagiarism, and usage of technology in research and writing. |
How to Make Kingdom Disciples | |
Core Areas of Kingdom Ministry | This course will teach the learner how to develop effective ministry for seven core customers of churches. It is designed to discuss and provide ideas that can be customized to fit your particular ministry. In this course we will cover the formation and structure of Children & Youth Ministry, Mens and Women’s Ministry, Married Couple’s Ministry, Young Adult Ministry and Seniors Ministry. |
Christian Apologetics | This course explores the major arguments for Christian teachings that are challenged by today’s unbelievers. |
Kingdom Discussions in Theology | This course addresses topics such as God, the Trinity, soteriology, the Reformation Period/Roman Catholicism, Pentecostalism, Evangelicalism, and many more topics. This course will empower the student to have a greater grasp of some of the most major themes of the Bible and connects contemporary students with the historical beliefs of the church – beliefs that have defined her for the last 21 centuries. |
The Kingdom of God | In this course the learner will explore an in depth scriptural investigation of the subject the Kingdom of God as presented by Dr. George Ladd. The course will focus upon Ladd’s position of the “Kingdom of God” and Dr. Carson’s position the “Kingdom Now”. |
